I am a self employed nature guide working in Swakopmund, Namibia. I mainly do birding tours in the coastal region for Safari Wise.
We are moving to Windhoek in July and I will do a combination of web design and nature tours
Short Bio
You can also learn a lot about me by following my blog.I grew up in Kenya, studied mostly towards a nature conservation diploma before coming to Namibia to work as a guide.
I started in Windhoek, then Swakop (Swakopmund) soon thereafter. Then I spent many years at Sossusvlei Mountain Lodge.
In June 2008 we moved to Swakopmund again in order for my boys to have access to schools. We felt that Swakopmund was a good option, as it isn't big, and the desert is right here. I am now doing freelance guiding, and really trying to crack into the birding scene.
I spend a lot of time birding at the coast, and have developed a nice general knowledge Swakop birding in a short time. I bird virtually every day!
I am also interested in web design and blogging. Doing this website is partly just for the fun of it...html Lego blocks. I believe it is still useful, though.
Services I offer
I guide birding tours and other nature interest tours in Swakopmund and suroundings as well as in the Sossusvlei area. I also do general accomodated tours around Namibia on a freelance basis.
